Sounders FC v. Houston Dynamo, pregame and lineups

houston325.JPGAbout an hour and a half before kickoff here (a replay of Chelsea-Manchester City on the big screen). For being the third game of the season, this one certainly seems to have a bit of importance for Sounders FC. A win-less, goal-less start will do at after trumpeting a year of high expectations.

Seattle should get some relief on the injury front, as midfielder Steve Zakuani and forward Nate Jaqua are expected to be available — at least in some regard. I’ll add the lineups to the bottom of this post when they become available.

If you’re watching from home, this 7 p.m. kickoff will be on the FOX Soccer Channel. Arlo White will have the call, as usual, on 97.3 KIRO-FM.

Sounders FC lineup: GK Kasey Keller, D Zach Scott, D Patrick Ianni, D Jeff Parke, D Leo Gonzalez, M Brad Evans, M Osvaldo Alonso, M Erik Friberg, M Steve Zakuani, F Fredy Montero, F O’Brian White

Houston Dynamo lineup: GK Tally Hall, D Kofi Sarkodie, D Bobby Boswell, D Andre Hainault, D Hunter Freeman, M Corey Ashe, M Lovel Palmer, M Geoff Cameron, M Brad Davis, F Will Bruin, F Jason Garey

Sounders FC reserves: GK Terry Boss, M Servando Carrasco, M Alvaro Fernandez, D Jhon K. Hurtado, F Nate Jaqua, M Mauro Rosales, D Tyson Wahl

UPDATE 6:32 p.m. — James Riley is out after suffering a mild concussion in training yesterday. No official word on the Hurtado/Fernandez moves; those questions will have to be answered in postgame.
