Interesting scene at the end of an international friendly Tuesday between Argentina and Costa Rica. Leo Messi didn’t play in the 0-0 draw but is seen signing autographs for the seemingly giddy players from the opposing team, who can’t line up fast enough.
Seems odd to me.
And I remember when Tashard Choice of the Dallas Cowboys got some heat for asking Michael Vick for an autograph after an NFL game. That one turned out to be for a relative and these could turn out to be the same.
But what do you think? Is it fair or foul going from opponent to fan after a game?

— Ex-trialist Seedy Bah (couldn’t get through the year without typing that name again) has signed with the Charleston Battery.
— Cobi Jones, Eddie Pope and Earnie Stewart were all elected to the National Soccer Hall of Fame. Here are some voting results. That means Sounders FC’s Chris Henderson and Sigi Schmid (nominated as a builder) missed out this time.
— Oh, lastly, U.S. Soccer has a new motto: “Indivisible”.
