Conditions down in Tukwila were dreadful this morning. It was definitely one of the wettest practices of the season so far from what I can remember. The absence of Steve Zakuani cast another cloud over the proceedings as the team tries to refocus after Friday night’s trauma.
Small-side scrimmages dominated the early action. Then the team focused on some drills on creating and finishing chances. A couple guys training to the side were Pat Noonan and Mauro Rosales, but none of it looked too serious.
The battery on my camera didn’t hold out too long today, so this is all we got.
* * *
1. It was so wet the Starfire staff had to make sure the grass field didn’t gather too much water.
2. Looks like the losing team in an early scrimmage had to do push-ups.
3. Time for a water break.
4. James Riley takes advantage of a break to get in some stretching.
5. Asst. coach Brian Schmetzer gets play started again.
