Big night for MLS last night.
Real Salt Lake put its 34-game home unbeaten streak on the line in the second leg of the CONCACAF Champions League final against Mexican club Monterrey at Rio Tinto Stadium. Some called it in the biggest single game in MLS history.
In the end it was a disappointing defeat as RSL lost 1-0 (3-2 on aggregate) on a
rebound goal by Humberto Suazo just before halftime. The home side pressed everyone forward for a goal late but it wasn’t to be.
A lot of MLS fans around the country jumped on the bandwagon as coach Jason Kreis‘ team made its run.
Whether you did or didn’t, how do you feel about Real Salt Lake coming so close?
