Sounders FC vs. Toronto FC, pregame and lineups

torontohome1.JPGWelcome to Qwest Field on this pleasant Saturday evening. As you can see, the support for Steve Zakuani is already clearly visible here. Should be an emotional night, but also an interesting night to see how the home team handles the losses of Zakuani, O’Brian White and most recently Mauro Rosales (see the post below).

We’re guaranteed to see Seattle’s seventh different starting lineup in eight games. I detailed the moves I expect in the previous post, but we’ll get official word in about an hour or so.

Toronto FC comes in with a couple local connections in ex-Sounders FC midfielder Nathan Sturgis and defender Ty Harden, who played collegiately at Washington from 2003-06. We’ll also have to wait and see if they’re available. I’ll post lineups below when they’re announced.

Sounders FC starting lineup: GK Kasey Keller, D James Riley, D Jhon Kennedy Hurtado, D Patrick Ianni, D Tyson Wahl, M Osvaldo Alonso, M Brad Evans, M Alvaro Fernandez, M Erik Friberg, F Fredy Montero, F Nate Jaqua

Sounders FC reserves: GK Terry Boss, M Servando Carrasco, M/F Mike Fucito, D Leo Gonzalez, M/F/D Roger Levesque, M/F Lamar Neagle, D Jeff Parke

Toronto FC lineup: GK Stefan Frei, D Dan Gargan, D Dicoy Williams, D Adrian Cann, D Danleigh Borman, M Julian de Guzman, M Maicon Santos, M Jacob Peterson, F Javier Martina, F Alan Gordon, F Alen Stevanovic

Toronto FC reserves: GK Milos Kocic, D Nana Attakora, D Matt Gold, D Ty Harden, F Joao Plata, M Nathan Sturgis, D Mikeal Yourassowsky
