Steve Zakuani appearance at Sounders FC training + photos

Clear skies and sunshine didn’t provide the only welcome sight at Sounders FC training on Monday. Injured midfielder Steve Zakuani was also on site, sporting a black hooded-sweatshirt and shorts, with a crutch under his right arm.

He was in good spirits as he mingled with his teammates and other team staff. He declined to talk on the record, but said maybe later in the week. More pictures after the jump:

Keller was one of many to greet Zakuani.

Fitness coach Dave Tenney led the starters in a regeneration day. O’Brian White included.

White put in a good jog as well.

A bunch of new faces were in camp today, presumably for tomorrow’s Reserve League game.

Erik Friberg (in gray) was a neutral today. Alvaro Fernandez (not pictured) trained some to the side.
