Sounders FC vs. New York Red Bulls, pregame and lineups

ny home.JPGSo here we are at CenturyLink Field. It doesn’t look much different at all. In fact I see about five “Qwest” signs from my view in the press box (two included in this picture: 1) the Hawk’s Nest cover, 2) the tunnel cover in the corner). No sign of “CenturyLink” anything yet.

From this picture you can also get a sense of the capacity. The corners in the upper deck still have tarps, but it sounds like we might be getting around 50,000 tonight.

Lineups should be coming around 6:15ish. I expect to see Alvaro Fernandez and Erik Friberg starting for Seattle. It will be interesting to see the shorthanded side New York puts out there as well. More to come later.

Sounders FC lineup: GK Kasey Keller, D James Riley, D Jeff Parke, D Zach Scott, D Leo Gonzalez, M Osvaldo Alonso, M Erik Friberg, M Mauro Rosales, M Alvaro Fernandez, F Fredy Montero, F Mike Fucito

Sounders FC reserves: GK Terry Boss, M Servando Carrasco, D Patrick Ianni, F Nate Jaqua, M/F Roger Levesque, M Lamar Neagle, D Tyson Wahl
