Sounders FC vs. L.A. Galaxy, Open Cup pregame and lineups

la usoc 2011.jpgTUKWILA–Here we are at Starfire Stadium. The weather is great and we’re set up for another entertaining night of soccer. The star-studded L.A. Galaxy come to town for a U.S. Open Cup quarterfinal against Sounders FC.

It will be interesting to see if the Galaxy stars made the trip. Indications from Bruce Arena and Landon Donovan have been that they will be at full strength, but we’ll see around 6:15 p.m. or so.

With three games this week, I think it’s fair to assume coach Sigi Schmid will have to dip into Sounders’ depth a little bit tonight. I’ll update this post when lineups become available.

Sounders FC lineup: GK Terry Boss, D Zach Scott, D Jeff Parke, D Patrick Ianni, D Leo Gonzalez, M Osvaldo Alonso, M Lamar Neagle, M Alvaro Fernandez, M Pat Noonan, F Fredy Montero, F Nate Jaqua

Sounders FC reserves: GK Kasey Keller, D James Riley, M Erik Friberg, M Servando Carrasco, M Mauro Rosales, M/F Roger Levesque, F Mike Fucito

L.A. Galaxy lineup: GK Josh Saunders, D Todd Dunivant, D Gregg Berhalter, D A.J. DeLaGarza, D Bryan Jordan, M Landon Donovan, M Juninho, M Michael Stephens, M Chris Birchall, F Adam Cristman, F Paolo Cardozo

L.A. Galaxy reserves: GK Brian Perk, F Juan Pablo Angel, D Kyle Davies, M Hector Jimenez, M Jovan Kirovski, M Miguel Lopez (just six listed)
