Sounders FC fans looking for something to do Thursday evening might want to consider going to the Market Arms Pub in Ballard (2401 NW Market Street).
General manager Adrian Hanauer, coach Sigi Schmid and midfielders Brad Evans and Steve Zakuani will all be on hand to take questions from the public. It’s all part of a fundraiser with proceeds going to benefit America SCORES Seattle.
There will be some prize drawings for memorabilia, including: a ball autographed by Mauro Rosales, jerseys signed by Fredy Montero and suite tickets to a Sounders FC home game.
The event runs from 5-7 p.m. There is a $5 suggested donation.

Zakuani, for one, has been extremely active in the community recently. There was a great story last week in The Peninsula Gateway of the midfielder visiting a local youth player, Jaxon Marquardt, who also broke his leg earlier this year.
“He told me he likes visiting players because it reminds him of his childhood, and how hard he worked,” Marquardt said in the story. “He said me and his fans are his inspiration.”
Zakuani also made an appearance at the Great Day of Play in Redmond, where he addressed the crowd at an event to promote a healthy lifestyle. Here’s the story by The Redmond Reporter.
“I really came to Redmond today to (tell) most of the children, and also the adults, that nothing is impossible,” said Zakuani in the story. “I had to overcome poverty, an injury, doubts… but today I get to play in front of 36,000 fans, and live my dream.”
