Sounders FC vs. Real Salt Lake, pregame and lineups

rsl home 2011.JPGUPDATE 12:26 p.m. — Brad Evans is out today after aggravating the hamstring injury this week. Full lineups are posted below.

It’s a busy sports day in Seattle today. The Sounders kickoff at 1 p.m. here at CenturyLink Field against Real Salt Lake. Washington takes on Hawaii this afternoon at Husky Stadium. Then the Mariners will look for their third-straight win against Kansas City later tonight.

Time to see if Sounders FC’s hot form will carry over into September after a short break. The team hasn’t played a competitive game in 11 days and the visitors will be highly motivated in this one (Seattle ended RSL’s 29-game home unbeaten streak earlier this season).

I expect to see full-strength lineups from both sides — Brad Evans is the only doubt for the Sounders — and I’ll update this post when they become available.

Sounders FC starting lineup: GK Kasey Keller, D James Riley, D Jeff Parke, D Jhon Kennedy Hurtado, D Tyson Wahl, M Osvaldo Alonso, M Erik Friberg, M Alvaro Fernandez, M Mauro Rosales, F Fredy Montero, F Mike Fucito

Sounders FC bench: GK Josh Ford, D Zach Scott, D Patrick Ianni, M Lamar Neagle, F Nate Jaqua, F/M Pat Noonan, M Servando Carrasco

Real Salt Lake starting lineup: GK Nick Rimando, D Robbie Russell, D Jamison Olave, D Nat Borchers, D Tony Beltran, M Kyle Beckerman, M Will Johnson, M Andy Williams, M Luis Gil, F Fabian Espindola, F Alvaro Saborio

Real Salt Lake bench: GK Tim Melia, M Jean Alexandre, F/M Arturo Alvarez, F Paulo Jr., M Ned Grabavoy, D Chris Schuler, M Collen Warner
