FINAL. Sounders FC 3, D.C. United 0. Mauro Rosales helps set up three goals and Seattle ties a franchise record for MLS wins (14) in a season.

90′: Three minutes stoppage time.

89′: Rosales down. Trying to figure out what happened there. He’s able to walk gingerly to the sideline.

86′: McDonald with a poor back-pass and Alonso nearly makes him pay, but Willis comes off his line to clear.

83′: Neagle with a good chance, coming off the heels of a good Fernandez chance, but we remain at 3-0.

82′: Sanyang makes his home debut in the 82nd minute for Evans.

81′: SAVE! Wolff with the best chance of the night for D.C., but again Keller is up to the task.

80′: Corner kick to D.C. United. Awful service is cleared.

78′: Marc Burch on for Ethan White. Lamar Neagle on for Fredy Montero.

76′: Another big stop from Keller, though Najar’s driven shot was at a tough angle.

72′: SAVE! Scott with a mistake in the back sets up the best chance of the game for D.C., but Keller stops Ngwenya’s open shot.

70′: Riley down. Looked like Scott was the one that actually hit him while going up for a header.

68′: Jaqua on for Fucito.

b>66′: CenturyLink Field attendance: 36,242 (sets MLS single-season record at 553,987).

63′: Yellow card to Da Luz.

62′: Wolff on for De Rosario.

59′: GOAL SEATTLE! Rosales swings in a cross, but Montero’s header is saved. Fernandez hammers in the rebound for a 3-0 lead!

58′: Mike Fucito shoved down in the box. You can probably guess whether or not ref Kevin Stott called a PK.

57′: Ngwenya nearly with a breakaway look, but Parke and Riley defend it well.

54′: Stephen King in for D.C. United. The former Sounder replaced Davies. DeRo will push up.

52′: I have a bit of a tighter deadline tonight, so update will be a little less frequent. Sounders seeing more of the action.

46′: And we’re off in the second half. The rain is coming down.

Halftime: Some stats. Shots–DC 8-7. Shots on goal–2-2. Fouls–DC 10-6. Offsides–SEA 4-2. Corner kicks–1-1. Saves–SEA 2-0.

Halftime: Seattle is 9-0-3 this season when scoring first. D.C. United is 0-6-4 when conceding first.

Halftime. Sounders FC 2, D.C. United 0. Mauro Rosales credited with two assists in the half. His 12 for the season are a new team record.

45+1′: GOAL SEATTLE! Montero to Rosales to Fernandez to make in 2-0 Sounders in first-half stoppage time! Phenomenal play there.

45′: Two minutes of stoppage time. Montero with a chance, but skips a shot just wide.

44′: Najar with some wonderful stuff in the box. Scott comes up big to block the shot.

41′: D.C. seeing a little more of the attack now. Wahl picks up a booking for taking out Najar. Wahl will be suspended for next week’s game. Keller with the save on the shot.

39′: Fucito down behind the play, but he’s back up. His former teammate Charlie Davies with a chance on the other side, but fires wide.

37′: For the record, my prediction had Fucito scoring in the 34th minute…

35′: GOAL SEATTLE! It’s Mike Fucito to give the Sounders a 1-0 lead. Evans with an assist and Rosales also did well to shield off his defender to earn the breakaway. Fucito finished well with his right foot. Alonso also involved in the buildup.

33′: Wahl challenges Ngwenya just enough on the header to let it drop harmlessly to Keller.

30′: Riley cross deflected out for a corner kick. Wahl takes it and Fernandez’ header nearly finds Montero at the far post. It doesn’t. Goal kick.

26′: DeRo and Alonso getting into it. After a physical scrap, Alonso wins the ball and is dragged down by the D.C. midfielder. DeRo offers a hand to the Cuban, who slaps it away. DeRo then tries to drag him up and they have words. Tempers elevating.

20′: Another free kick to D.C. and, again, Riley wins the initial header. Follow-up chance to Da Luz, but his shot is blocked out for a corner kick. D.C. called for a foul on that set piece.

16′: Ngwenya booked for taking out Alonso. Bad foul there. Sets up a free kick. It’s out a goal kick after a little scramble.

12′: Fucito finds some space on the right, but his cross is blocked. Montero and Fernandez follow up with some crafty work in the offensive third, but Montero’s cross doesn’t find a target.

11′: Da Luz with cross from the left but it’s a poor one. DeRo with the ball at the top of the box, but his nifty pass is blocked. First moments of attack for the visitors.

9′: Parke with the foul on Davies, concedes the free kick. DeRo takes it. It’s cleared. Riley won the initial header.

6′: Good possession by Seattle. The ball is eventually worked over to Riley for a cross. Montero is there on the far post, but can’t head it on target.

3′: DeRo absolutely clocks Parke. Foul called, no card. Should’ve been.

2′: Montero shoved in the back at midfield by McDonald. Foul called.

1′: And we’re off!

Pregame: Just had the moment of silence for Erik Martin, aka Electron Boy, and the national anthem. We’re about to get underway.

Pregame: Here’s the walkout. D.C. in all black. Seattle in green-blue-green. Keller in white. Willis in yellow.

Pregame: Lineups have been posted below and we’re about 10 minutes from kickoff. Only on one occasion (May 2010, vs. L.A. and vs. San Jose) have the Sounders lost back-to-back MLS home games.
