Sounders FC vs. D.C. United, pregame and lineups

dc united home2011.JPGAn overcast evening here at CenturyLink Field, where Sounders FC will host D.C. United at 6 p.m. tonight. With Portland winning last night, Seattle cannot clinch a playoff berth this weekend. The Timbers winning also puts some pressure on D.C. to get a result to keep pace.

We’ll see if Osvaldo Alonso (adductor) and Brad Evans (hamstring) are able to go today. They each were left off the trip to Costa Rica to work on fitness and are listed as probable. They’ll be needed with Erik Friberg questionable with a hip injury and Servando Carrasco suspended.

Lineups will be available around 5:15 p.m. or so and I’ll update this post accordingly.

Also, if you missed it in the post below, there will be a video tribute after warmups for Erik Martin, aka Electron Boy, who died Friday. I believe there will also be a moment of silence for him.
