If you pay close attention, you might notice Saturday’s game at Gillette Stadium will feature a pink Jabulani soccer ball (like the one pictured above).

It’s a part of a leaguewide campaign to promote breast cancer awareness in October and all 18 MLS teams ramp up awareness efforts for one home game. For New England, it’s Saturday. For Sounders FC, it’s Oct. 15, the regular season home finale against San Jose.

Things you could see in pink include: the game ball, sideline towels, ribbon patches, sweatbands, shoelaces and goalkeeper gloves.

There will also be an auction to raise funds for research and treatment on the league website. Limited edition products like scarves, hats, t-shirts and soccer balls will be available at stadiums and MLSGear.com.
