Final: Sounders FC 3, San Jose Earthquakes 1. Seattle improves to 8-1 in the MLS Reserve League West Division behind goals from Michael Tetteh, Sammy Ochoa and Nate Jaqua.

90′: Two minutes of stoppage time.

87′: Jaqua off, he also has three reserve goals now. Dominique Dismuke in. Yes, another academy product.

85′: GOAL SEATTLE! Nate Jaqua slots home a rebound. Beautiful 1-2 by Tetteh and Levesque set it up, as Tetteh’s shot was saved by Webber in front of the goal. Sounders 3-1.

84′: Sounders on the break. Kovar has space and fires a shot just wide. Had options (Levesque, Jaqua, Sweeney) looking for a cross. Confident strike just missed.

83′: Nice free kick by Estrada and Jaqua climbs well to win it. Heads it just wide.

81′: Sweeney’s at right mid. Levesque at forward. Sweeney swings in a great cross and Kovar nearly gets on the end of it. Good stuff from the youngsters.

78′: McLaughlin booked for a hard tackle on Tetteh.

76′: Sammy Ochoa comes off. Nice night for him for a goal and assist. Austin Sweeney comes in (another academy product).

74′: It is pouring rain here now. The fans are still in full voice. “Seattle sunshine!” they chant.

72′: Corner kick for the visitors. Graham wins it. More danger. Scott with a half clearance. In the end, McLaughlin fires wide.

68′: GOAL SAN JOSE. Matt Luzanaris pulls one back for the Earthquakes. Might’ve been Gjertsen on the cross. Luzanaris finishes over Ford’s shoulder after a mini-scramble. 2-1 Sounders.

65′: Griffin out. Milton Blanco on.

64′: Ford punches out a cross. Can he hold on for the shutout?

59′: A few of the first time guys came by the press box. Sanyang said he’s dealing with a little knee knock. Mike Fucito said he’s contemplating joining Twitter.

56′: Dangerous low cross from Ochoa, but Estrada can’t quite get a shot off. The ball comes back to Ochoa but his second cross is off target.

50′: Yellow cards to Estrada and Griffin.

46′: We’re off in the second half. Academy product Ian Lange came on for Ianni and is playing right back. Levesque up to right mid. Estrada to center mid.

Halftime: Sounders FC 2, San Jose Earthquakes 0. Sammy Ochoa has a goal and assist, Michael Tetteh also with a goal as Seattle is in firm control.

45′: Estrada cross sets up Kovar, but his left-footed volley goes wide.

44′: Ochoa shows off some skill in the box, but can’t finish the move for a goal. Might’ve hit it earlier. On the other end, McLaughlin has an open look, but skies the shot.

43′: Another save by Ford. He’s looked comfortable.

42′: Ford is strong off his line to prevent a scoring chance for San Jose.

41′: Seamon with a good run, might’ve taken a shot, tries to find Ochoa, but Webber grabs it.

39′: Academy product Aaron Kovar comes in for Seattle. He’ll play on the left. Tetteh drops back to left back. Scott to center back. Ianni to center mid.

37′: Carrasco jogging on the sideline, trying to see if he can come back on, but it doesn’t look like he will.

34′: Nicholson with a long-range shot that Ford handles comfortably. Carrasco forced come out due to a knock he suffered earlier. Seattle playing with 10 for now.

33′: Estrada sets up Levesque for a cross, but San Jose clears it.

30′: GOAL SEATTLE! Mike Seamon has some space and could fire a shot, instead sets Ochoa up beautifully and the big forward finishes the chance very well. 2-0 Sounders.

28′: McLaughlin had to leave the game temporarily (blood?), but he’s back on.

25′: San Jose clammors for a hand-ball as it appeared a Graham header knocked the ball into Ianni’s hand, but we play on.

23′: Nice pass from Seamon, would’ve put Sammy Ochoa in on goal, but the forward can’t control it. On the other end, a shot by McLaughlin appears to take a deflection before bouncing out for a goal kick.

20′: Gjertsen with an open shot toward the top of the penalty box. Knocks it over the goal.

18′: San Jose earns a free kick when Estrada concedes a foul. Taylor Graham wins the header but it falls to Tim Ward. He drives a low shot on goal, but Ford does well to smother it.

16′: Jaqua gets on the end of a Tetteh cross, but it’s out for a goal kick.

12′: Tetteh now tied with Lamar Neagle for the team lead in reserve goals with three.

11′: Ianni concedes a free kick. Luzanaris (I think) wins it for San Jose, but his header goes wide.

9′: Sounders keep pressing and earn a corner kick. Estrada service creates some danger, but Webber has it.

7′: GOAL SEATTLE! Sammy Ochoa collects a pass from David Estrada and lobs a cross to the far post. Michael Tetteh is there to slam it in with a left-footed volley. Sounders up 1-0.

2′: Levesque at right back with Estrada in front of him. Scott at left back with Tetteh in front of him. Carrasco as a holding center mid with Seamon playing more advanced.

1′: Gjertsen avoids a slide tackle by Graham and fires a powerful shot just over goal.

1′: And we’re off!

Pregame: Taylor Graham the captain tonight for Seattle. Chris Leitch for San Jose. The Earthquakes are in all black. The Sounders in green-blue-green.
