CARSON, Calif.–Apologies for not getting a full prediction post up. I’ve had a few travel delays today, which have put me behind. For the record, I’m calling for a 1-0 Sounders FC win tonight in its regular-season finale at Chivas USA — let’s say Alvaro Fernandez with the goal in the 55th minute, assists to Mauro Rosales and Fredy Montero.
It’s overcast and a little windy here at a cool Home Depot Center. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on KONG 6/16 TV and 97.3-FM radio.
I expect Seattle to go with a full-strength lineup. Earlier in the week coach Sigi Schmid said he wants his team to establish and rhythm, and having some guys go two weeks between games won’t do that.
Lineups should be available around 6:45, so I’ll update this post accordingly.
