ccl logo.jpgThe draw for the CONCACAF Champions League knockout rounds will be held Tuesday, Nov. 8, in New York, the confederation announced today.

Matchups for the two-leg quarterfinals, semifinals and finals will be determined.

From the news release:

The first-leg quarterfinal games will be played March 6-8 with second legs being completed March 13-15. Group Stage winners will be paired against Group Stage runners-up. Teams that played in the same group may not be drawn against one another, however, a team may be drawn against another team from its own country. The runners-up will host the first leg.

Sounders FC finished second in Group D to defending champion Monterrey of Mexico and can be drawn against the three other group winners: the LA Galaxy (USA), Santos Laguna (Mexico) and Pumas UNAM (Mexico).

The three other runners-up are Morelia (Mexico), Toronto FC (Canada) and Isidro Metapan (El Salvador).

If Seattle gets through its quarterfinal, the semifinals will take place on March 27-29 (first leg) and April 3-5 (second leg). The final will be played April 17-19 (first leg) and April 24-26 (second leg).

According to CONCACAF, a complete schedule will be announced in the near future.
