Wednesday afternoon links: Kasey Keller to work for ESPN?

Retired Sounders FC goalkeeper Kasey Keller has been at ESPN headquarters this week auditioning for a broadcasting job with the network, according to ESPN.com soccer editor James Martin.

The note is mentioned atop a Q&A Martin did with Keller recently on a variety of topics, including MLS, the English Premier League and the U.S. men’s national team. Be sure to check that out.

SoundersFC.com put together another great video, this one recapping the 2011 season.

— Midfielder Steve Zakuani has a unique gift idea for the holidays, which you can check out here. He talks about it on a video of his own.

— This is a week old, but former play-by-play man Arlo White had a good conversation on the radio with John Strong about his future endeavors.

MLSsoccer.com editors have tabbed the signing of Mauro Rosales as the league’s transaction of the year. Hard to argue with that one.
