Monday training at Starfire — photo reel

A bit late, but worth the wait. (I hope)

I did get the services of a new point-and-shoot camera, thanks to the fiancee, so the quality of these pictures is a bit better in spite of my poor form. Let’s get to it from a still snowy Starfire Sports Campus in Tukwila.

* * *

Here’s a look at your newest Sounder, Cordell Cato. He was the subject of a short notebook for the paper.

And here’s Cato in action. You might notice Amadou Sanyang playing as a right back behind him, which is interesting. David Estrada was the right back for the other team. Something to ponder.

Here’s a quick peek at Jason Banton, who had his first full training session with the team. Invitee goalkeeper Tyrel Lacey is behind him.

This one’s blurry and messy, but it’s a shot of Banton finishing a chance for a nice goal.

Steve Zakuani was back out and had another full training session. Here he chats with Lamar Neagle.

Here’s Marc Burch (left) and Zach Scott walking out to the field.

And Christian Sivebaek (left), Mike Fucito (foreground) and Roger Levesque. Note the snow on another turf field.

And a few of the Latino players gather before the afternoon session starts.

Lastly, here’s another look at Sivebaek. You can definitely get a sense of his height (6 foot 3) and size. Someone to keep an eye, to be sure.
