Friday training at the VMAC — photo reel

Friday was all about speed and explosiveness at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center in Renton. Speed was measured in a 30-meter dash and explosiveness is based on the first 10 meters. As mentioned earlier, invitee forward Darwin Jones (a Sounders FC Academy alum) was the winner.

The sprinting took up most of the day, but there were a few other drills that followed. The Sounders will have one more day of training Saturday, then they’ll take Sunday off before leaving for Arizona on Monday (with one less goalkeeper).
