Saturday practice at the VMAC — photo reel

The Sounders take off for Arizona on Monday, but held a final training session at the VMAC on Saturday. There biggest news of the day was the return of Jeff Parke and Brad Evans to the team following USMNT duty.

I posted a few notes from the day earlier and here are some pictures:

Here is the scene at the VMAC during warmups.

At long last, Jeff Parke got some USMNT action. He also got married in the offseason. Not a bad few months.

Brad Evans has six caps now — four under Bob Bradley and two under Jurgen Klinsmann.

Evans said he’s still getting to know all the new faces. Here are a couple familiar ones (Carrasco and Fucito).

Here’s some scrimmage action. Goals on Saturday were scored by invitee midfielder Jonathan Prieto and forward Sammy Ochoa from what I saw.

Guys not in the scrimmage trained to the side. Christian Sivebaek took a hard knock at one point, but was able to shake it off.

And the day comes to an end…
