Here’s another reminder that single-game tickets for the 2012 MLS season go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday morning. You can buy them on SoundersFC.com, though Ticketmaster, at the CenturyLink Field box office or by calling 877-MLS-GOAL.
If history is any indication, you might want to get on this early. A limited amount of season tickets, including spots in the Hawks Nest, are also available.
Here are some other morning links:

— Zambia’s national team was the big story Sunday, winning the African Cup of Nations for the first time after a penalty-kick shootout against favored Ivory Coast. What makes the story even more amazing is the location of the triumph in Gabon is not far from the site of tragedy in 1993 where the Zambian national team was killed in a plane crash. Here’s coverage of the shootout.
— A couple from GoalWA.net: first, a chat with departed Sounders FC communications director Frank MacDonald, who’s joined the guys at Ruffneck Scarves, and also a look at the Issaquah Soccer Club, a newcomer to the WPSL that’s looking at a possible leap to the reported WPSL Elite league in 2013 if all goes well in Year 1.
— Not sure this should come as a huge surprise, but it sounds like Thierry Henry would be open to another Arsenal stint in the future.
— Real Madrid has all but locked up the La Liga title with a 10-point lead over Barcelona.
— Lastly, a personal favorite, the latest from Soccer AM’s “Showboat” series.
