SoundersFC.com has a good roundup of Eddie Johnson‘s first day with his new team on Saturday. He’s been training the past couple months at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., so he didn’t have to go far.
And it sounds like the 27-year-old forward got off to a good start.
According to the team’s practice report, Johnson scored twice in 18 minutes of 8v8 scrimmages. The production represented 40-percent of the team’s goals during the drill as Fredy Montero also scored twice and Cordell Cato added a goal.
NOTE: In case you missed it in the previous post, invitee goalkeeper Chris Blais, a Seattle native, is no longer listed on the camp roster.
