Updates on “other” Sounders tickets

The Sounders Women announced Monday that single-game tickets are now on sale on their team website. You might remember there’s some extra excitement surrounding the W-League team this season following the signings of U.S. women’s national team stars Hope Solo, Alex Morgan and Sydney Leroux among other former WPS players.

The Sounders FC U-23 team also had ticket news. The local PDL side, which now has an affiliation with the Sounders FC as a part of its youth development program, announced that season tickets are available on its team website and released more details on the year’s schedule.

The U-23s will play eight PDL games and some preseason exhibitions at a couple South Puget Sound locations, including Franklin Pierce High School and Cheney Stadium.

Season-ticket packages start at $80 and include priority for postseason matches with a 20-percent discount. The PLUS package costs $100 and includes VIP treatment for the games at Cheney Stadium. Single-game tickets go on sale on April 2.

Here’s the updated U-23 home schedule:

Friday, May 25 — Victoria Highlanders at 7:30 p.m. (Franklin Pierce H.S.)

Wednesday, May 30 — Vancouver Whitecaps U-23 at 6 p.m. (Cheney Stadium)

Saturday, June 2 — Portland Timbers U-23 (location and time TBD)

Friday, June 8 — Washington Crossfire at 7:30 p.m. (Franklin Pierce H.S.)

Sunday, June 10 — North Sound SeaWolves FC 2 p.m. (Franklin Pierce H.S)

Friday, June 15 — Kitsap Pumas at 7:30 p.m. (Cheney Stadium)

Sunday, July 8 — Fraser Valley Mariners at 2 p.m. (Franklin Pierce H.S.)

Wednesday, July 11 — North Sound SeaWolves FC 7:30 p.m. (Franklin Pierce H.S.)
