Arlo’s back (Wednesday links)

The Sounders take practice to CenturyLink Field on Wednesday and an old friend is expected to be in attendance: former broadcaster Arlo White. He’ll be on the call for the NBC Sports Network, which is carrying Friday night’s game against the Houston Dynamo.

We’ll hosting a live chat with White at 1 p.m. this afternoon so be sure to join us for that.

— Did you see David Estrada is the No. 1 (by a long shot) in the Castrol Index?

— Seattle wasn’t the only one that got bad injury news after Saturday’s game. Toronto FC midfielder/defender Torsten Frings could be out up to six weeks with a hamstring strain.

— The Sounders FC U-23 team filled out its technical staff Tuesday in the announced hires of assistant coaches Mike Jennings, Jason Prenovost and Ben Dragavon.
