— Is Chelsea going to play the MLS All-Stars this summer in Philadelphia?

Roger Levesque will be reading his favorite Shel Silverstein poems Sunday at America SCORES Seattle’s book fair at the Barnes & Noble downtown at Pacific Place. The event starts at 2:30 and Levesque will read at 3:30.

— Here’s a Canadian report that says Babayele Sodade has indeed torn his ACL.

— Sounders FC draft pick Abdul Aman didn’t get an MLS contract, but has been granted a sixth year of eligibility and will play for UW next season.

— The Kitsap Pumas have announced 10 signings for the upcoming PDL season.

— The U.S. women’s national team, loaded with Sounders Women, will take on Japan in the Kirin Cup very early in the morning: 3:30 a.m. our time to be exact. They’ll also host China on May 27 at PPL Park.

— A survey of 14 MLS coaches said CenturyLink Field is the toughest place to play.

— Former Sounder Sebastien Le Toux is the big story heading into this afternoon’s Vancouver game in Philadelphia. He says he won’t shake Peter Nowak’s hand afterward.

— With players from 17 different countries, the Whitecaps’ locker room is the only one more diverse than the Sounders.

— Bad news for the New York Red Bulls: Forward Luke Rodgers was denied his visa and his MLS contract has been terminated. Looks like he’s landed with a Norwegian team.

— Lastly, the soccer world is always good from some crazy commercials. Here’s one with Cristiano Ronaldo and Rafael Nadal.
