Sounders FC vs. San Jose, injury report

SEATTLE SOUNDERS FCOUT: GK Josh Ford (R knee stress fracture); DF Andrew Duran (R knee surgery); DF Michael Tetteh (L hamstring strain); MF Steve Zakuani (R leg fracture); FW Babayele Sodade (R knee); DOUBTFUL: MF Mauro Rosales (R knee sprain); QUESTIONABLE: DF Adam Johansson (L hamstring strain); FW Eddie Johnson (R hip strain)

SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKESOUT: MF Joey Gjertsen (R knee surgery); DF Tim Ward (L non-specific soft tissue injury); DOUBTFUL: MF Sercan Guvenisik (R hip flexor strain); PROBABLE: MF Marvin Chavez (concussion)

* * *

Interesting to see details added compared to the midweek report.

Notables: Ford’s knee injury has been specified as a stress fracture (was previously “knee pain”). Johnson’s injury has been labeled a hip strain (was previously “hip injury”). Sodade’s knee injury has no designation yet.

Questions: I wonder why Brad Evans (game-time decision with a hamstring injury) and Cordell Cato (unable to practice Thursday with an ankle injury) aren’t listed.
