After a busy weekend, the Sounders are taking Monday off, so there won’t be a lot of news today. With Jhon Kennedy Hurtado (pelvis) upping the injury count to 11, a day off should serve the team well.
It’s very possible that we see the returns this weekend — at least in some fashion — of Hurtado, Brad Evans (hamstring), Adam Johnasson (hamstring) and Eddie Johnson (hip) in Saturday’s road game at D.C. United.

— It was an interesting weekend in MLS, notably Galaxy star David Beckham was subbed off at halftime of a 3-1 loss to New England.
— Lastly, I’m not sure what’s crazier in this clip, the knuckling flight of this tremendous shot or the look-at-my-quad goal celebration.
