Playing Xbox for a good cause (Tuesday links)

The Sounders return to training Tuesday after a day off and turn their preparations toward D.C. United. Then tonight, a handful of players will participate in a charity Xbox tournament at 6:30 p.m. at the Microsoft store in Bellevue.

Fredy Montero, Alvaro Fernandez and Leo Gonzalez are among the few that will be on hand. Proceeds benefit The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and tickets can be purchased here.

— North Sound SeaWolves FC have invited 18 players back after two rounds of tryouts to play in a scrimmage against Gonzaga. The game will be at 3:30 p.m. on April 14 at Quil Ceda Stadium in Marysville.

— Local product Kelyn Rowe had a nice weekend.

— Colorado Rapids midfielder Pablo Mastroeni is dealing with concussion symptoms and will likely miss a trip to Seattle on April 14. Beyond that, he’s concerned about the future of his career.
