Sounders FC vs. Colorado Rapids, lineups

colorado home 2012.jpgIt’s a beautiful and sunny Saturday afternoon here at CenturyLink Field.

The Sounders (2-1-1) host the Colorado Rapids (3-2) and kickoff is at 1 p.m. A lot of attention will be on Brian Mullan‘s return to Seattle for the first time since breaking Steve Zakuani‘s leg, but this is a big Western Conference showdown, as well.

The Sounders haven’t won the past two weeks, but have had good success against Colorado with a 4-1-1 advantage in the head-to-head series and a 3-0 record at home. It’ll be interesting to see what lineup we see, as Mauro Rosales‘ absence has led to some shuffling around at right midfielder.

I’ll post lineups here when they become available around 12:20 p.m. or so.

According to Matt Gaschk, Alvaro Fernandez is out today (no reason was given. UPDATE: Flaco suffered a quad injury in training Friday). Also, David Estrada and Alex Caskey will start on the wings with Eddie Johnson starting up top with Fredy Montero.
