Sounders FC vs. Philadelphia Union, lineups

philly home 2012.JPGWelcome to a sunny CenturyLink Field on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.

The Sounders, coming off two days rest, will aim for their fourth-straight win in this 1:30 game against Philadelphia. Arlo White and the NBC Sports Network will have the broadcast of this one that will feature two young goalkeepers in net — Zac MacMath for Philadelphia and Bryan Meredith for Seattle in place of injured starter Michael Gspurning.

It’ll be interesting to see how Sigi Schmid shuffles the lineup on the short turnaround. I wouldn’t be surprised to see three changes on the back (bringing in Adam Johansson, Patrick Ianni and Marc Burch). I also wouldn’t be surprised to see a few regulars like Eddie Johnson and Brad Evans get the day off. Alvaro Fernandez, who’s been battling a quad injury, could be available, so that’ll be interesting to see.

Lineups should come out around 12:45 p.m. and I’ll post them here.

Any thoughts going into this one?
