Elsewhere in a busy MLS weekend, both Sporting Kansas City and San Jose lost, meaning Seattle is the only team that has just one defeat this season.

— If you missed it last week, Chicago midfielder Marco Pappa won MLS Goal of the Week for his Olympico directly off a corner kick against the Sounders. That means Seattle’s three goals allowed have consisted of a penalty kick and two GoTWs.
