Sounders FC vs. Portland, injury report

SEATTLE SOUNDERS FCOUT: FW Babayele Sodade (R knee ACL tear); FW David Estrada (L foot fracture); DOUBTFUL: GK Michael Gspurning (R hip strain); DF Leo Gonzalez (L quad strain); QUESTIONABLE: DF Adam Johansson (R hamstring strain); MF Steve Zakuani (R leg fracture); PROBABLE: GK Josh Ford (R knee stress fracture)

PORTLAND TIMBERSOUT: DF Eric Brunner (concussion); DF Rodney Wallace (R ankle sprain)

Once again, you’ll notice Zakuani has been upgraded to questionable — his healthiest listing since the injury about 14 months ago. Of course, a more tangible sign of his progress was being on the bench for Wednesday’s game.

There’s other good news, too, as Johansson and Ford has been upgraded also.

And even as Gonzalez is listed as doubtful, coach Sigi Schmid said the Costa Rican left back would travel to Portland and be on the 18-man gameday roster.
