Sounders FC’s midweek injury report

SEATTLE SOUNDERS FCOUT: GK Andrew Weber (R adductor strain); FW Babayele Sodade (R knee ACL tear); FW David Estrada (L foot fracture); QUESTIONABLE: MF Steve Zakuani (R leg fracture); GK Michael Gspurning (R hip strain); MF Cordell Cato (L knee MCL sprain); MF Alex Caskey (hamstring strain); PROBABLE: DF Adam Johansson (R hamstring strain)

* * *

With no MLS game this week and Chelsea’s injury information not readily available, Seattle’s will be the only report listed. The only changes from last week are the inclusions of Cato and Caskey, who were each off to the side during Tuesday’s training session at Starfire. With so much going on, their injury issues weren’t raised with coach Sigi Schmid, but be assured they will be by the end of the week.

Neither took part in Sunday’s game in New York. Both were starters in last week’s U.S. Open Cup semifinal against Chivas USA, presumably when the injuries occurred.

More to come on their situations in the coming days…
