Sounders FC player salaries for 2012 updated

Posted below are the updated Sounders FC player salaries for the 2012 season. The information was made available today on the website of the players union and had been last updated in May.

Here are some notables:

* * *

— You’ll notice Alvaro Fernandez (traded), Roger Levesque (retired) and Christian Sivebaek (waived) are no longer listed since they are no longer with the team.

— Defender Daniel Steres, acquired in the waiver draft, is the only addition. He’s a minimum-salary player that doesn’t count toward the salary cap.

— Newest signings Christian Tiffert and Mario Martinez are not listed, most likely because they happened so recently.

— The only salary that changed was that of rookie defender Andrew Duran, who is currently on loan with the Atlanta Silverbacks of the NASL. He has dropped to $33,750 from $44,000.

O’Brian White‘s salary does not count against the cap as his contract was bought out before the start of the season.

— All the rest is pretty much exactly the same…
