Sounders FC’s midweek injury report

SEATTLE SOUNDERS FCOUT: FW Babayele Sodade (R knee ACL tear); DEF Andrew Duran (L ACL surgery); QUESTIONABLE: GK Andrew Weber (R adductor strain); FW David Estrada (L foot fracture); PROBABLE: MF Mauro Rosales (R quad strain); MF Christian Tiffert (R ankle sprain)

* * *

This is pretty close to the last report from before the Portland game. The only difference is midfielders Osvaldo Alonso (head injury) and Andy Rose (rib fracture) are no longer listed.

Coach Sigi Schmid has given multiple indications in the last few days that Rosales and Tiffert should be able to go Saturday vs. San Jose, this after both missed last weekend’s game in Portland despite a “probable” listing. The DP pair didn’t travel to Honduras.

Estrada got his first action in three months with the reserves Sunday, but also didn’t make the Honduras trip. He’s still working his way back into game shape and form but said he feels ready to come off the bench.
