The big news was the status of Johnson — the subject of a previous post. Interesting to see the injury referred to as an adductor strain, as the forward himself referred to it as a hamstring issue Sunday.

In other updates, Ianni and Rose have been upgraded to probable, which indicates they’re further along than Gonzalez. All three practiced to the side Tuesday.

“Ianni and Leo seem to be getting better every day,” coach Sigi Schmid said.

You’ll notice Jeff Parke isn’t listed after leaving Sunday’s game after feeling tightness in his hamstring. The move was billed then as being precautionary, and Schmid said the defender is “fine.”

Added Parke: “I’m playing. I’m not worried about it. I lifted today and ran, and tomorrow we’ll start practicing again.”
