This is exactly the same as the update before Sunday’s first leg.

Here is coach Sigi Schmid from Tuesday: “Mauro did more today. Leo went through pretty much all of training today. So now the key, again, is we’ve got to see how they feel tomorrow. Once we know how they feel tomorrow, then we’ll have a better idea.”

Reporters were let into the final bit of practice and that appeared to be what we saw. Gonzalez has active in training and Rosales was more off to the side (he could’ve been doing more earlier). Ianni appeared least active of those in question.

Schmid was asked how important a potential Gonzalez return would be.

“Could be very important,” the coach said, “but he’s missed a little bit now, so game fitness is a little bit of an issue. But even having him available off the bench would be something that could help us. He’s an experienced player. He wants to get out there. We’ve got to make sure how close he is. … Leo’s a good 1v1 defender. He matches up well with the Magees and the Donovans and those kinds of players. He’s a good players, so having him back would help.”
