The W-League schedule hasn’t been announced, but the Sounders Women will be playing at least 11 games — more than they did this past year.

Let’s get to some links:

* * *

— First off, here’s some coverage from Philadelphia on Jeff Parke‘s return to his hometown. Sounds like his wife, Jennifer, gave birth to their daughter, Camille, just a few days ago.

— A big trade was announced Tuesday, as Sporting Kansas City acquired midfielder Benny Feilhaber from New England for some draft picks and allocation money. Also, Danny Mwanga re-signed with the Portland Timbers, FC Dallas signed a former Atletico Madrid midfielder, and reports have Rafa Marquez potentially leaving New York for Mexico.

— The Red Bulls and Los Angeles Galaxy each announced homegrown player signings recently.

— In your NASL news, the Cosmos announced their first player signing in Carlos Mendes.

— Some of these are a few days old, but there’s been talk of D.C. United’s Andy Najar training with Anderlecht, Union defender Carlos Valdes could go out on loan for the offseason, and Sporting KC’s Kei Kamara has been training over in England.

— Reports continue of Thierry Henry joining Arsenal on loan again, and here’s a roundup of Americans abroad over the weekend.

— Maybe support for an expansion team in New York isn’t what the league would have you believe.

Here’s a recap of the College Cup final over the weekend, where Indiana prevailed over Georgetown. Elsewhere, UW goalkeeper Spencer Richey was named to TopDrawerSoccer’s second team in end-of-the-season honors.

— Did you see the story of the lone away fan in Italy?

— Did you see this dive?

— Did you see Falcao scored five goals in one game?

— Lastly, here’s video of the 2012 ECS Player of the Year…
