Sounders to hold their end-of-year business meeting Thursday night

Seattle Sounders FC Logo.jpgSounders FC season ticket holders are invited to attend an end-of-the-year business meeting Thursday night at the WaMu Theater adjacent to CenturyLink Field.

The event starts at 7 p.m. and doors open at 6:30. Parking in the garage at the south end of the stadium is free.

Seattle players, owners, coaches and executives are expected to be in attendance, and according to the team, “will meet with season ticket holders to discuss all aspects of the organization.” You can submit your questions here for the Q&A session.

As part of the event, the results of a fan vote to retain or remove general manager Adrian Hanauer will be announced. It is, of course, expected that he will be retained since all he needs is a simple majority, as detailed in my story on the subject. The Alliance Council will also provide an update.

There’s a fair chance that other news will come from the event, as well, so stay tuned.

Discounted merchandise will also be available.
