Osvaldo Alonso back from West Ham (Thursday links)

Sounders FC midfielder Osvaldo Alonso, according to a team spokesman, has returned from his week with West Ham United of the English Premier League. The 27-year-old Cuban American is expected to be good to go for the Jan. 21 start of preseason training camp.

So far it hasn’t been an offseason of much exciting news, so this will have to do for now.

Word from Kansas City is the 2013 MLS All-Star Game might be headed to Livestrong Sporting Park.
