Sounders FC will face Real Salt Lake at 5 p.m. Saturday in the championship game of the Desert Diamond Cup. The game will be broadcast on the NBC Sports Network.
Seattle, as expected, is fielding a reserve-heavy lineup since the starters featured in Friday night’s exhibition against Mexico’s Veracruz.
According to Don Ruiz of The News Tribune, kickoff will be closer to 5:20 p.m. The game will also go straight to PKs after 90 minutes if tied.
