An updated camp roster for Sounders FC

As you can see from the tweet above, it appears second-year forward Babayele Sodade has been cut from the Sounders. The team had no update to provide as of Tuesday night, but I’d expect an announcement soon.

In some other quick news, supplemental draft pick Kevin Durr is no longer with the team and has returned to school at the Air Force Academy.

Another draft pick, Jennings Rex, is also no longer with the team.

The Sounders maintain the MLS rights to Durr and Rex.

Regarding a couple other guys who weren’t around Tuesday, defender Djimi Traore has been away from the team the past few days, presumably to handle visa issues ahead of a permanent move. He was expected back tonight. Invitee goalkeeper Doug Herrick also is gone, presumably for 2014 AFC Challenge Cup qualifiers with the Guamanian national team (something coach Sigi Schmid mentioned a couple weeks ago).
