The schedule for the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup has leaked here, and CenturyLink Field will be hosting games July 11, a Thursday, between Panama/Martinique at 5:30 p.m. and then Mexico/Canada at 8 p.m.
The groups appear to be (not sure of the order):
A: Mexico, Canada, Panama, Martinique
B: Honduras, Trinidad & Tobago, El Salvador, Haiti
C: USA, Costa Rica, Cuba, Belize
I didn’t include the schedule of the knockout rounds, so as to keep the picture a manageable size. The quarterfinals will be held July 20 in Atlanta and July 21 in Baltimore. The semifinals will be July 24 in Dallas. The final is July 28 in Chicago.
Seattle also hosted Gold Cup games in 2005 and 2009. The regional tournament is played every two years (though it might change soon to every four years) and features national teams from North America, Central America and the Caribbean.
