Sounders FC vs. Portland Timbers, lineups (Update: Obafemi Martins will be available)

Welcome to CenturyLink Field, where we’ll wrap up a wild week with a big rivalry game between the Sounders and Timbers. Kickoff will likely be closer to 5:20 tonight due to the national NBC Sports Network broadcast.

Quick note from the ECS: There won’t likely be a big tifo display for this game. The supporters groups had a deal that they would only have one a year (so expect a big one for a Aug. 25 home game here vs. the Timbers, which will likely see the whole stadium opened up).

One of the big questions tonight will be if Obafemi Martins is in the 18-man game day lineup. I certainly expect he will be — that was the purpose of rushing here before national team duty. (UPDATE: Martins will apparently be available).

Injuries of note: Brad Evans (calf), Adam Johansson (knee), Shalrie Joseph (calf) and Patrick Ianni (foot) won’t be available.

I’ll post lineups below as they become available.

Sounders FC lineup: GK Michael Gspurning, D DeAndre Yedlin, D Jhon Kennedy Hurtado, D Djimi Traore, D Marc Burch, M Mario Martinez, M Osvaldo Alonso, M Andy Rose, M Steve Zakuani, F Eddie Johnson, F Sammy Ochoa

Sounders FC bench: GK Marcus Hahnemann, D Zach Scott, D Leo Gonzalez, M Servando Carrasco, M Alex Caskey, F Obafemi Martins, F Mauro Rosales

Portland lineup: GK Donovan Ricketts, D Ben Zemanski, D Andrew Jean-Baptiste, D Mikael Silvestre, D Michael Harrington, M Diego Chara, M Jack Jewsbury, D Will Johnson, M Diego Valeri, M Darlington Nagbe, F Ryan Johnson,

Portland bench: GK Milos Kocic, D Ryan Miller, D Dylan Tucker-Gangnes, D Rodney Wallace, M Kalif Alhassan, F Frederic Piquonne, F Jose Valencia

Notes: Confirmation Obafemi Martins is on the bench. Mauro Rosales, too. Marc Burch gets first start of 2013. No David Estrada tonight. Bainbridge Island native Dylan Tucker-Gangnes on bench for Portland.
