Sounders FC coach Sigi Schmid said after Friday’s practice that they expect Evans and Joseph to return to training next week.

Evans participated in the early part of the workouts but didn’t in the later part, so he looks to be more doubtful for the game at San Jose.

There are also three open spots on the roster, but it might not stay that way for long. “We’re trying to make some final decisions on some people right now,” Schmid said, “so there are still some things I think coming down the line.”
