This is about as clean an injury report has looked for the Sounders in a long time. The ones to keep an eye on are midfielders Brad Evans and Shalrie Joseph, who have been recovering from calf strains.

“I think they both got through this week so far pretty good,” said coach Sigi Schmid after Thursday’s practice.

Schmid added that Evans and Joseph would each have a role in Saturday’s road game at Real Salt Lake (and also Tuesday’s CONCACAF Champions League semifinal game against Mexico’s Santos Laguna), but “as to what that role is going to be for each of them, I’m not quite sure.”
