Here are some quick notes

— Sounders FC has won seven-straight against the Rapids and leads the series 8-1-1 all-time (3-1-1 in Colorado).
— Sounders FC is on a 26-0-7 run since the end of 2010 when scoring first, the longest active streak in the league.
— Obafemi Martins scored his first MLS goal (followed by his first MLS back flip).
— Brad Evans got a win on his 28th birthday and can finally shave now.
— Shalrie Joseph broke a personal 0-16-7 winless streak since July 8, 2012, with New England.
— Sporting director Chris Henderson, the Rapids’ all-time leading assist man, was inducted into the team’s Gallery of Honor at halftime with Marcelo Balboa, Paul Bravo and John Spencer.
— Sounders FC has recorded back-to-back shutouts after having none in the first eight games in all competitions.
— Sounders FC became the last MLS team to get a win this year.
— Sounders FC remains on a franchise-worst start and in last place in the Western Conference.
