Here are some postgame notes following Sounders FC’s 2-2 tie Saturday at Philadelphia:
— Sounders FC (1-3-3) is unbeaten in three games but still in last place in the Western Conference and on a worst-ever start.
— Sounders FC is on a 26-0-8 streak when scoring first (1-0-2 this season), the longest active unbeaten run in MLS dating to the end of 2010.
— Sounders FC is now 1-2-1 on the road, 2-5-4 in all competitions, 0-1-2 vs. the East, 2-2-2 in the series with Philadelphia, 0-1-2 at PPL Park.
— Sounders FC had its shutout streak end at 284 minutes. The subsequent streak didn’t even last a minute.
— Sounders FC scored first for just the third time in 11 games this season in all competitions, including CCL.
— Sounders FC scored multiple goals for the first time this season in MLS (second time overall).
— Lamar Neagle and DeAndre Yedlin (two local products) will be suspended for Wednesday’s game at Sporting Kansas City after earning red cards. Yedlin was one of two Sounders to have appeared in each game this season.
— Servando Carrasco made his first start since July 4, 2012.
— Mauro Rosales had a goal and assist today. It’s the first time in 38 games he’s had at least one of each.
— Eddie Johnson is up to two goals in MLS and three in all competitions. His 57 career league goals are tied for 24th in MLS history.
— Osvaldo Alonso and Obafemi Martins are a couple who could be back for Wednesday’s game.
— Danny Cruz’s back-to-back goals in the 50th and 51st minutes were the quickest the Sounders have ever allowed goals in succession.
