L.A. Galaxy 4, Sounders FC 0, video highlights and some ugly postgame notes

— Sounders FC has its three-game winning streak and six-game unbeaten streak end.
— Sounders FC matched its worst-ever defeat (margin of victory and goals allowed).
— Sounders FC set a franchise low with two shots in game.
— Sounders FC matched team worsts with zero shots on goal, zero shots in a half (the first).
— Sounders FC had never allowed a hat trick. Robbie Keane did it in 21 minutes (24′, 34′, 44′, albeit two were penalty kicks).
— Sounders FC fell to 0-5-1 on the road against the Galaxy, playoffs and regular season, since 2010, having been outscored 13-2.
— Sounders FC was shut out for the first time since April 13, scoreless tie with New England.
— Sounders FC hadn’t trailed since a May 4 game at Philadelphia, ending a run of 320 minutes.
— The Galaxy improved to 4-1-1 at home with a 12-2 goal differential.
— The Galaxy made sure it didn’t lose back-to-back home games for the first time since 2010.
— Shalrie Joseph earned a red card in the 87th minute and will be suspended for Saturday’s game at Chivas USA.
— Eddie Johnson earned his fourth yellow card of the season in the 65th minute to move within one of an automatic suspension (unless he goes three games without a booking).
— Lastly, Robbie Rogers entered the game in the 77th minute to become the first active and openly gay player in league history.
