Reign FC fined by NWSL for Laura Harvey’s criticism of referees after the Portland game

nwslThe National Women’s Soccer League announced Friday that it has fined Seattle Reign FC an undisclosed amount “for comments critical of the match officials” made by Laura Harvey, general manager and head coach, following Saturday’s 1-0 home loss to Portland Thorns FC.

Harvey told reporters “the referees are a joke,” after Portland was erroneously granted a penalty kick in the 83rd minute.
